  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three years of professional project management experience, preferably in higher education or a large, complex institutional environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using Monday.com as a primary project and work management platform.
  • Experience with digital proofing and review systems, such as PageProof, Ziflow, etc.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing workflows, systems, and new software tools.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with IT teams, customer success managers, and external software or service vendors.
  • Experience working with CMS platforms, Git-based workflows, Figma, Microsoft 365, and digital content production processes.
Preferred Qualifications

Job Description
Responsible for planning and managing institution-wide digital initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on scope, and aligned with strategic and brand priorities.
Job Duties
Strategic Planning and Portfolio Management
  • Lead the planning and execution of digital initiatives that support institutional priorities such as student success, enrollment and recruitment, reputation building, and expansion of the university’s global brand.
  • Manage an active portfolio of digital projects, balancing strategic initiatives, ongoing operational needs, and emerging priorities.
  • Evaluate project requests for scope, impact, resourcing, and alignment with internal teams to inform prioritization and sequencing.

Project Intake, Execution, and Oversight
  • Working with other project managers, serve as the primary point of contact for new digital projects , managing all new requests through the project management system and directly from team leadership.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, roles and responsibilities.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks or roadblocks, and coordinate solutions with internal teams and external partners. When new, urgent work emerges, align team contributors on new direction and accurately deprioritize other tasks.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards for brand alignment, usability, accessibility, and technical performance prior to delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Collaborate with campus partners such as Enrollment Management, Continuing Education, Strategic Initiatives, IT, and academic units to ensure digital efforts support shared institutional outcomes.
  • Serve as a liaison to external stakeholders, including vendors, freelancers, and specialized service providers, to ensure alignment, accountability, and timely delivery.
  • Partner closely with creative, content, web, and technical teams to coordinate dependencies and ensure cohesive execution across disciplines.

Digital Platform and Site Operations
  • Provide ongoing technical and editorial oversight for a portfolio of 10+ institutional websites, ensuring accuracy, functionality, and adherence to governance standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts related to web restructuring, CMS enhancements, mobile platforms and applications, content strategy, and user experience improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement of digital platforms through documentation, testing, and process refinement.

Workflow, Process, and Reporting
  • Design, implement, and continuously optimize project management workflows and processes across digital portfolios.
  • Create and maintain project agendas, meeting notes, action items, and documentation within Monday.com to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly project meetings, work sessions, and leadership check-ins, providing clear status updates, pivots, and forecasting.
  • Partner with university leadership to support high-level reporting needs, including campaign performance, digital metrics, and crisis or rapid-response monitoring.
