Description of Work  | Provide strategic leadership for Digital Experience initiatives at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Develops long-term strategy and executions for web-based initiatives, especially regarding user experience, social media, mobile initiatives and accessibility.

Minimum Required Qualifications  | Bachelor’s degree in communication, computer science, business or related field plus five years experience building user-centered websites required; equivalency considered. Leadership experience organizing and facilitating efforts of large groups and managing teams with diverse skill sets. Knowledge of current technologies used in web and new media communication, including server technologies such as Apache or IIS, HTML (HTML5/XHTML), Javascript, CSS (CSS3), MPEG formats, PHP and MySQL. Knowledge of audience research methods and the ability to conduct and report on research.
