The Director, Finance has overall financial responsibility for assigned Product / Business Unit / Function, or Corporate area (s). The Director, Finance owns financial processes including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, while supporting the tracking and delivery of key financial KPIs for their designated area. This role delivers financial analyses and insights to senior management, and helps guide strategic decision making based on key macro-economic, market and business value drivers. Role to be embedded in the BU where appropriate to drive better alignment and nimbleness.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop business insights and drive value through financial analyses and by being a valued business partner of assigned area
- Direct annual budgeting/forecasting processes for assigned SBUs/FCEs/Corporate areas
- Provide monthly, quarterly, ad-hoc and annual analyses to senior management.
- Develop/present recommendations based on financial data to support effective decision making
- Assist in developing overall business strategy and planning goals for assigned area(s)
- Monitor and report on capital expenditures and investment proposal submissions
- Provide financial support and guidance to CXOs, SVPs, VPs
- Oversee staff of analysts
- Lead process improvement initiatives / transformation projects and measure benefits
- Adhere to ethical standards and comply with laws/regulations applicable to the job function

Experience and Skills
Primary Skills:
- Able to do, explain, teach, re-imagine and innovate within FP&A organization
- Able to work with and lead financial and non-financial staff to drive business results
- Able to identify and implement process improvements within the Finance organization to improve efficiency/effectiveness, reduce cost/risk, and/or develop competitive advantage
- Extend ownership beyond assigned accountabilities and successfully overcome unforeseen obstacles and/or ambiguities
- Periodically redefine and re-prioritize scope as necessary to accomplish critical outcomes by anticipating, influencing and satisfying customer or stakeholder’s needs and established expectations while delivering exemplary service
- Recognize patterns that help self or others promptly and appropriately respond to non- routine events or prepare for contingencies for foreseeable conditions
- Lead and collaborate effectively in teams, soliciting and incorporating diverse perspectives, backgrounds, thoughts and experience
- Able to lead large scale, cross-functional projects and project teams
- Improve capacity for institutional success by modeling and enabling effective individual and group behaviors
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required
- MBA in Finance and/or Accounting preferred
- Certified Public Accountant other relevant professional certification strongly preferred
- 7+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, management and reporting including working directly with senior leadership
- Prior experience in a leadership role including leading a strong analytical FP&A team
- Expertise in PeopleSoft, Oracle Cloud and MS Office
- Project Management experience
- Strong analytical, management, presentation, and communication skills required

- The base salary range advertised represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
