Highlights

Lead organization, administration, and provide vision for project implementation of GEAR UP ACHIEVE.
Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for key projects and Principal Investigators.
Recruit, supervise, and evaluate professional and administrative staff.
Coordinate programming with School Liaisons and communicate with Alabama State Department of Education Officials and grant partners.
Manage budgetary and grant reporting responsibilities and finalize reports for the US Department of Education.
Travel monthly within the target area for project management meetings.
Participate in national and regional GEAR UP and related conferences.
Master’s degree in Education, Education Administration, Counseling, or related field required with 5 years of relevant coordination/management experience; higher graduate degrees may substitute for experience.
Knowledge of higher education policies and ability to coordinate complex meetings.
Salary range $63,250-$113,850, full-time limited term appointment ending 09/30/2030 contingent on funding availability.
