Description

As the Director of Business Insights, you will help advance this legacy by driving Apple’s Admissions Strategy through data-powered insights into the ECE industry, our markets, and the family enrollment journey. 

 As the Director of Business Insights, you will cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence, turning complex data into compelling narratives that inform critical decisions to accelerate revenue growth. Acting as a trusted advisor and reporting to the Head of Admissions and Marketing, the Director of Business Insights will ensure business insights align with and propel the strategic goals of the organization. In this role the Director of Business Insights will support all those in the admissions process throughout the organization and serve as a critical member of the admissions & marketing team whose main objective is to maximize revenue. 

Job Responsibilities: 
Transform complex data into actionable insights, using storytelling techniques to highlight key findings, trends, and opportunities; develop ongoing methods to measure Apple’s overall admissions strategy while collaborating cross-functionally for continuous improvement and solutioning. 
  • In partnership with the Head of Admissions & Marketing, prepare presentation decks based on in-depth, root cause data analysis, synthesizing information in a meaningful format for the target audience, drawing conclusions and raising awareness on issues/opportunities.      
  • Maximize functionality and utilization of visualization tools by building, maintaining, and refining user-friendly automated interactive dashboards and reporting views in BI, ensuring that KPIs align with the broader business strategy and objectives. 
  • Ensure ongoing data integrity and reporting accuracy through data infrastructure audits, identifying data discrepancies and areas of opportunity to streamline and consolidate data sources. 
  • Assess the impact of new school launches and base school operations, including analyzing customer engagement, qualitative feedback, pricing strategy, and overall performance optimization. 
  • Analyze macro-trends to support and understand market dynamics and correlations to marketing and admissions outcomes.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to internal partners on Dashboard and Report utilization for self-guided analysis.

Requirements
 Experience/Background: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, analytics, statistics, or related field. 
  • 5+ years of experience driving data insights and building comprehensive dashboards in a multi-unit setting, including experience in data analytics, customer insights, market research, project management, business, or related area. 
  • An analytical mindset and demonstrated experience as an analytics leader who enjoys taking a data-driven approach. 
  • Excellent written, verbal and storytelling communication skills, allowing you to translate complex research into compelling and actionable insights to be shared with the leadership team and the broader organization, including non-experts. Also, can communicate technical issues with clarity. 
  • Resourceful and collaborative with a sharp eye for detail, strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Team player with the ability to build relationships and influence internal cross-functional stakeholders and external partners to achieve team goals. Also able to work autonomously with deadline orientation. 
  • Organized and strong time-management skills. 
  • Capability to think creatively, strategically, and technically to drive business outcomes through analytics. 
  • Skilled in using analytical and BI tools (Power BI experience preferred). 
  • Acts as a trusted business partner with in-depth knowledge of stakeholder’s operations and key objectives/metrics. Proactively engages stakeholders to understand their challenges and goals. 
  • Ability to connect data insights to business strategies and objectives and transform business requirements into compelling presentations, reporting, and dashboards that drive business outcomes. 
  • Understands data pipelines and ability to lead BI configurations, advanced report programming, and technical queries. 
  • This position will be hybrid remote and will require travel weekly throughout NJ and occasionally CT, PA, NY. 

Salary Description
$125,000-$150,000
