The Director also administers the LELA recognition program, develops and disseminates practical resources for elected officials, cultivates relationships with elected leaders throughout the state, and strengthens partnerships with organizations such as the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners, the North Carolina League of Municipalities, and the North Carolina City/County Management Association. The role also collaborates with School leadership, faculty, staff, and development personnel to identify funding opportunities supporting the program's growth.

A relevant post-baccalaureate degree is required (a relevant undergraduate degree plus 5-7 years of related professional experience may substitute). This is a full-time permanent EHRA Non-Faculty position with a hiring range of $62,115-$80,000.
