Description
The Director of Partner Experience provides strategic and operational leadership for partner-facing services that drive implementation fidelity, educator capacity, and measurable outcomes. This role integrates professional learning delivery with proactive partner success strategies to ensure partners experience a seamless journey from onboarding through renewal.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute a unified approach to professional learning and partner success.
- Align team priorities with organizational goals for retention, renewal, and expansion.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality, research-aligned training and coaching experiences.
- Monitor implementation fidelity and educator engagement metrics.
- Guide proactive relationship management, health monitoring, and renewal planning.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to identify and act on expansion opportunities.
- Lead and develop PL Consultants and Partner Success Specialists, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Maintain balanced workloads and clear performance expectations.
- Implement systems for tracking partner health, training completion, and impact outcomes.
- Ensure accurate CRM documentation and consistent reporting practices.
- Partner with Product, Technology, Marketing, and Research and Growth to align messaging and execution.
- Coordinate closely with other Directors to ensure consistency across teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years leadership experience in professional learning, customer success, or education partnerships.
- Strong understanding of K–12 systems and EdTech environments.
- Proven ability to drive retention, renewal, and expansion outcomes.

Waterford.org team members are located across the United States and primarily work from home. We anticipate this full time, salary position will pay $108,000 - $113,000 per year depending on the education, experience and skill level of the individual we hire. We also offer a phenomenal benefits package that includes fully paid primary premiums for health insurance, dental insurance, basic life insurance, and disability insurance.
