The Person

As OneGoal Georgia’s Director of Postsecondary Access your mission is to work strategically and creatively to ensure OneGoal runs an exceptional school-based program, such that our Fellows are dramatically more likely to pursue their highest postsecondary aspirations. Your role is to drive regional program health and operational excellence across a portfolio of school partners, ensuring strong programmatic execution and partner satisfaction across your portfolio, including school leaders, counselors, teachers, students and school-based decision makers who can clearly see our program’s value and retain our partnership. Additionally, you will impact teacher practice through designing and executing  high-impact professional development and coaching so that  teachers deliver stronger OneGoal experiences. By doing this, our partners see evidence of impact and take greater ownership resulting in our Fellows consistently meeting or exceeding key postsecondary milestones.

  • Provide ongoing 1:1 coaching and support to teachers, helping educators translate OneGoal curriculum, postsecondary knowledge, and advising practices into meaningful experiences for Fellows.
  • Observe classrooms and analyze data in Salesforce and PowerBI to identify trends across your portfolio, determine where additional coaching or professional learning is needed, and adjust supports accordingly.
  • Co-design and facilitate bimonthly rigorous, relevant, and engaging teacher trainings and professional learning experiences that build teachers’ capacity to deliver an exceptional OneGoal experience.
  • Ensure our national, culturally responsive curriculum is thoughtfully adapted to the needs of Georgia classrooms and effectively implemented through Canvas and other learning systems.
  • Monitor and strengthen partner health across your portfolio by meeting regularly with school-based decision makers including principals, assistant principals, and counselors to monitor program execution.
  • Support execution of engaging and inspiring experiences for Fellows, such as college visits, career exposure, guest speakers, and awards ceremonies, that expand students’ understanding of their postsecondary possibilities.
