- Lead major gifts strategy and execution for university-wide priorities such as Falvey Library, Career Center, Student Life, Mission and Ministry, and Honors Program.
- Develop and maintain relationships with alumni, parents, faculty, volunteers, and other major donors with gift capacities of $100,000 or more.
- Manage a portfolio of up to 100 prospects and conduct 10-12 prospect visits monthly to meet or exceed solicitation goals.
- Oversee and manage the Advancement liaison program supporting campus areas outside Schools/Colleges and Athletics.
- Manage, mentor, and evaluate one Major Gifts Officer, providing coaching and strategic guidance.
- Collaborate with University Advancement colleagues in communications, events, and stewardship to support fundraising priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree required; 5-7 years fundraising experience with at least 3-4 years in major gifts; Master’s degree and management experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work both independently and in team settings.
- Commitment to higher education and Villanova University’s mission and values, with willingness to travel and work evenings/weekends.
- Compensation is commensurate with experience and position is classified as exempt, full-time, 12-month staff role in University Advancement.
