| Job Summary | The Director of Student Engagement is an essential member of the Division of Student Affairs at Oberlin College. This position provides leadership to the Office of Student Leadership and Involvement, while leading the overall student organization engagement strategy with an overall goal of student learning, success, and retention. |

| Responsibilities | The Director of Student Engagement also serves as a resource to student organizations throughout the entire life cycle of an organization, including managing the new organization chartering process, advising the “Student Finance Committee” that funds student organizations, leading Student Organization Leadership Retreats, Training Organizations and Organization Advisors, and helping with organizational leadership transitions. This position should keep track of trends of best practice in higher education, to best support our student organizations and provide high-impact engagement opportunities. |
