SUMMARY: We’re seeking a strategic and systems-minded Director of Product Operations to drive consistency, efficiency, and cross-functional alignment across the Teaching & Learning product portfolio. This role will empower product managers to focus on high-impact work by standardizing key processes such as launch readiness, product feedback loops, and release management.
Key responsibilities include building and scaling operational frameworks that streamline product management and delivery. This role leads cross-functional coordination across product, marketing, sales, and customer success to minimize delays and improve execution. It also involves implementing repeatable systems for experimentation, voice-of-customer programs, and product feedback. A critical function is translating executive vision into actionable plans that align product efforts with overarching business goals and evolving market needs. Additionally, the director champions operational excellence and agility to support scalable growth across the organization.

Strategic Planning & Alignment
- Partner with product leadership to align product operations with company goals and product strategy.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and sales.
- Facilitate product planning and roadmap processes to ensure transparency, prioritization, and accountability.
Operational Excellence
- Build and scale processes, systems, and tools that support efficient product development and execution.
- Streamline workflows for product launches, feature rollouts, and go-to-market coordination.
- Manage and improve product lifecycle operations, including intake, planning, execution, and retrospective.
Data & Performance Insights
- Own the product analytics infrastructure, ensuring product teams have the data they need to make informed decisions.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product team effectiveness and product success.
- Lead reporting and dashboards to track progress against objectives and measure ROI.
Governance & Compliance
- Establish and maintain standards, playbooks, and best practices across product teams.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements during the product development lifecycle.
- Drive change management for process or organizational shifts.
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Own internal communication rhythms for product updates, demos, and executive reporting.
- Coordinate feedback loops between customers, sales, support, and product.
- Ensure alignment between customer insights, business needs, and product priorities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 years of experience in Product Management with proven success in strategic planning and execution
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across teams and levels
- Deep understanding of product management, including tools, methodologies, and industry best practices
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement across teams and systems
- Customer- and outcome-focused mindset, with a commitment to educational excellence
- Ability to clear required background check
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS or MS in a related field
- 10+ years in related experience or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and learning management systems and product management tools
- Experience working in Agile or product-led environments

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Stride, Inc. considers a person’s education, experience, and qualifications, as well as the position’s work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value when determining a new employee’s salary level. Salaries will differ based on these factors, the position’s level and expected contribution, and the employee’s benefits elections. Offers will typically be in the bottom half of the range.
We anticipate the salary range to be $90,000-$145,00. Eligible employees may receive a bonus. This salary is not guaranteed, as an individual’s compensation can vary based on several factors. These factors include, but are not limited to, geographic location, experience, training, education, and local market conditions. Stride offers a robust benefits package for eligible employees that can include health benefits, retirement contributions, and paid time off.
