Position Description:
We are seeking a senior-level E-Learning Instructional Designer to create engaging, performance-driven digital learning experiences that enable workforce development, skill transformation, and measurable business impact. This role is ideal for a strategic learning professional who thrives in collaborative environments, partners effectively with SMEs and stakeholders, and delivers modern, accessible, and interactive eLearning solutions.

You will lead end-to-end instructional design initiatives—from needs analysis and learning strategy to design, development, implementation, and evaluation—while building high-quality digital learning products that drive real-world performance outcomes.
This is a hybrid contract role requiring a minimum of three (3) days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop interactive, learner-centered eLearning programs aligned with business goals and performance outcomes
  • Lead end-to-end instructional design lifecycle (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation – ADDIE/Agile)
  • Partner with SMEs, business leaders, and cross-functional teams to translate complex content into engaging digital learning experiences
  • Create structured eLearning design documents, storyboards, scripts, and learning architectures
  • Build courses using modern authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, and multimedia platforms
  • Integrate graphics, audio, video, simulations, and multimedia elements to enhance engagement and retention
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards and inclusive learning design best practices
  • Apply learning analytics, assessments, and evaluation models to measure training effectiveness and performance impact
  • Maintain consistency in UX/UI design, navigation, and learner experience across all digital learning products

Required Skills/Education:
Education & Experience:
  • High School Diploma + 12+ years corporate instructional design experience
    OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree + 8+ years corporate instructional design/development experience
  • Minimum 8+ years in corporate Instructional Design or related roles
  • Strong professional portfolio with eLearning design documentation (required for interview)
Technical & Professional Skills:
  • Advanced experience with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise, LMS platforms)
  • Expertise in instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, Agile Learning)
  • Strong background in digital learning strategy and performance-based learning design
  • Experience implementing Section 508 accessibility and eLearning compliance standards
  • Proficiency in multimedia learning design (graphics, video, audio, animations, interactivity)
  • Strong UX/UI design principles for digital learning environments
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality learning solutions on tight timelines
