About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) Teacher to join our collaborative and diverse team of special service providers. In this role, you will support preschool-aged students (ages 3–5) with severe needs, helping them build foundational skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.

This position offers a highly structured yet collaborative schedule, featuring a manageable caseload and dedicated time for professional planning and teamwork.

  • Start Date: July 31st
  • Target Audience: Preschool students (ages 3–5) with severe needs
  • Class Schedule: Students attend Monday through Thursday

Key Responsibilities

  • Instructional Delivery: Design and implement individualized, play-based instruction and interventions tailored to the developmental and behavioral needs of preschool students with severe disabilities.
  • IEP Management: Develop, write, and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), monitoring student progress and adjusting goals as needed.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with a diverse team of special service providers (e.g., speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and behavior specialists) to deliver holistic support.
  • Friday Planning: Utilize Fridays for intensive lesson planning, team collaboration, professional development, and administrative duties.
  • Family Engagement: Maintain open, culturally responsive communication with families to support student learning at home and ensure a smooth transition into the school environment.

Qualifications
