How can you make an impact?
The Editorial Assistant provides all aspects of support to the Medical Test Prep editorial team. Reporting to the Director, Test Prep, the Editorial Assistant will play a central role in ensuring all key editorial processes are proactively planned and executed. This individual will develop proficiency in all pertinent internal systems and leverage those systems to complete assigned tasks. They will ensure that all authors, contributors and vendors are paid in a timely manner. This position will be responsible for organizing and tracking departmental projects, as well as playing a key role in supporting special projects as needed.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:
  • Support the staff and product portfolio for the Medical Test Prep editorial team, including special projects, as needed.
  • Manage and maintain database of student contractors for recruitment and payment purposes.
  • Provide digital production support as needed.
  • Assist with digital traffic royalty calculations.
  • Track and manage departmental expense budget.
  • Track all items on product roadmaps and report on status.
  • Create and maintain tracking sheets for active departmental projects.
 
We’re looking for someone with:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with particular focus on Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of successfully and proactively managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

The pay range for this position is between $54,600 - $70,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
