Job Description 
Reynolds is one of the largest community colleges in Virginia and serves Virginia’s capital city and five nearby counties. Annually, our four campus sites serve approximately 13,000 credit students and provide training for 7,400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. The Educate VA Program Support Technician will support the Community College Workforce Alliance’s (CCWA) mission by providing administrative and program support to the Educate VA leadership team and programs. This will include all participants or potential candidates in the Educate VA Career Switcher program.

This Program Support Tech will help coordinate classes, provide basic technology support, assist with student registrations, process applications, prepare licensure files, collect data, and generate a variety of reports, as needed. Additionally, the candidate will need to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers to include Virginia school division leaders and other stakeholders in various state agencies.

KSA's/Required Qualifications  | Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Considerable knowledge of generally accepted administrative and office support functions. Demonstrate high-level proficiency with applicable software programs including MicroSoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and the internet. Demonstrate ability to manage priorities and work independently while demonstrating excellent organizational and office management skills. Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, with individuals both internal and external to the organization, and successfully working with multi-generational and diverse populations. Demonstrate ability to establish positive working relationships while working independently and as part of a team to provide excellent customer service to stakeholders and clients. Working knowledge of state, college, and organizational grant and tuition regulations and processes. Demonstrated ability to research and solve problems independently. Ability to organize, coordinate, prioritize multiple tasks and keep accurate records while working in a fast paced rapidly changing environment.
