Education Program Lead Coordinator Full Description

The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry within the College of Arts and Sciences seeks nine Education Program Lead Coordinators to join our team.
The Education Program Lead Coordinators will assist General Chemistry Lab Supervisor with everyday Chemistry needs; assist in the development, implementation, and setup of general chemistry labs; assist with the development and preparation of teaching aids including laboratory manuals, Carmen assignments and laboratory rubrics; monitor Teaching Assistant (TA) adherence to grading policies and deadlines; assist Gen Chem Lab Supervisor and TA training coordinator with the training of graduate students, undergraduate students and staff teaching assistants; develop ongoing TA training materials; manage and facilitate staff meetings; assist with responding to inquiries regarding Gen Chem courses; other duties as assigned.

Minimum Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED. 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience is required.
Desired: Bachelor's Degree with a Major in chemistry or biochemistry. Previous teaching experience in a university setting.

Additional Information
The pay range for this job profile is $20.24 - $26.44. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
