Work Schedule Summary | This position is only for the 2-week program from June 15th – June 26th, 2026. This includes the weekend.
- All hours for the week of June 15th- June 21st (Monday-Sunday) will take place between 10am-4pm
- All hours for the week of June 22nd-June 26th (Monday-Friday) will take place between 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
- Includes 1-2 weeks of paid staff training prior to the beginning of the program

Job Summary | The Lassonde Startup Academy is a pre-college program designed for entrepreneurs, makers, builders, and doers, offered by the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute. Educational Staff Assistants will work closely with instructors to support the delivery of the entrepreneurship curriculum. They will also engage directly with high school students, helping them explore the entrepreneurial mindset, transform ideas into action, and understand what it takes to launch a business.
Our 2-week summer residential program runs from June 15th-June 26th, 2026.
This is an in-person position. Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
The selected candidates must be able to attend a paid week of staff training prior to the program start date and work from June 15th-June 26th, including the weekend.
As an Educational Staff Assistant for the Lassonde Start Up-Academy you will:
-Help with the develop, build and teach entrepreneurial curriculum
-Learn and implement various classroom management techniques
-Work with the instructors to create a safe learning environment
Responsibilities | Educational Staff Assistants will be responsible for:
- Assisting with classroom management including the direction, supervision, and organization of students
-Handling classroom supplies
-Group management outside of designated classroom learning time
- Facilitating activities, workshops, and assigments that are part of the curriculum
- Working with Youth Education instructors and staff to ensure program quality
- Deliver extraordinary customer service to all program participants
- Encourage campers to participate in activities by demonstrating excitement and enthusiasm appropriately
- Other duties may be assigned
