Description

Culver Franchising System, LLC is hiring an eLearning Development Specialist to build and maintain engaging eLearning courses that support Culver’s best-in-class training solutions. The successful candidate will apply their knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models to develop content that enhances the learning experience and aids with learner retention.

Essential Functions:

Develop Engaging eLearning Content:

Design and create interactive eLearning course content – utilizing tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to generate course content.
Incorporate supporting material, activities and media (graphics, photos, audio, video, animation, other interactive content) into course content.
Use storyboards/content outlines effectively throughout the design process.

Ensure High-Quality Course Design:

Review photo/graphic specifications in course storyboards and assist with photo and video shoots.
Research evolving e-learning technologies, trends, and strategies.
Integrate and maintain internal branding guidelines and course design style guides.
Ensure consistency and accuracy with design standards, conduct quality and cross-platform testing with required browsers and operating systems.

Maintain LMS and Courses:

Assist with maintenance of courses and tools on the Learning Management System (LMS).
Create and maintain Spanish translated courses and tools on the LMS.
Assist with troubleshooting courseware and LMS functionality issues.
Stay current with ongoing software updates and releases.

Requirements:

Minimum two-year college degree in Training, Instructional Design, Multi Media, Learning Technologies, or related area.
1-2 years of instructional design experience which includes developing eLearning courses, preferably in Articulate Rise and Storyline.
Proficiency with Articulate Rise and Storyline, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Premier Pro or another video and editing tool.
Knowledge of instructional design, graphic design, photography and videography, and adult learning principles.
