Enrollment Data Specialist Full Description

Position Summary: Serve as the dedicated data steward and primary point of contact for complex enrollment datasets across key Global Enrollment Management and Student Success (GEMSS) units, including Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar/Enrollment Management Technology, and Marketing & Communications. Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and effective management of enrollment data. By upholding rigorous data standards and supporting the implementation of robust data management plans and policies, directly contribute to GEMSS' achieving strategic recruitment and enrollment goals and provides expert stewardship of NYU's critical data assets.

Qualifications:
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Data Management or equivalent discipline

Required Experience:
2+ years of related experience in data governance, data management, quality assurance; and/or data collection, retrieval, analysis, predictive modeling, and reporting in an applied context.

Preferred Experience:
2+ years Related experience in higher education, and particularly in data governance, data management, quality assurance and/or data collection, retrieval.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent analytical and written/verbal communication skills. Excellent listening and observation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of professionalism and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency with databases and ad hoc data management tools. Experience using business intelligence tools (Tableau/Tableau Prep or equivalent). Ability and willingness to quickly learn new systems and software.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency in SQL Experience with Slate, Oracle Peoplesoft Campus Solutions and Collibra
Additional Information: In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $76,500.00 to USD $93,500.00.
