How can you make an impact?

As an Institutional Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in expanding McGraw Hill's presence in Spain by driving growth in the higher education and enterprise learning sectors. Your impact will come from building strong relationships with universities, corporations, and government institutions; identifying new digital learning opportunities; and helping our customers deliver effective, evidence-based educational outcomes. You will represent McGraw Hill as a trusted advisor, demonstrating how our innovative digital solutions.

 

What you will be doing:

  • Generating new business and managing existing institutional accounts across Spain in both the higher education and corporate learning segments.
  • Establishing strong relationships with a wide range of decision-makers, including university rectors, deans, training directors, and government representatives.
  • Promoting McGraw Hill's full product portfolio including digital solutions, adaptive learning products, custom content development, and print materials to increase market share.
  • Identifying new opportunities and developing custom projects to expand the e-learning catalog and regional portfolio.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales revenue and account activation targets through the use of consultative sales techniques.
  • Using data-driven insights and Salesforce CRM to plan and track customer engagement and pipeline management effectively.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across product, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Delivering engaging sales presentations to large groups and representing McGraw Hill at internal and external meetings.

 

We are looking for someone with…

  • A strong track record in consultative sales, ideally within the digital learning, higher education, or corporate training industries.
  • A passion for technology, digital transformation, and innovative learning solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with proven ability to engage senior leaders and decision-makers.
  • The ability to work independently, with initiative and strategic focus, while collaborating as part of a remote and cross-functional team.
  • A network of institutional and corporate contacts and the ability to develop relationships that lead to long-term partnerships.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with statistical or analytical tools is a plus.
  • A bachelor's degree (required); postgraduate studies or professional development in education or business are an advantage.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken); Spanish fluency is highly valued.
  • Car and License to drive in Madrid and surroundings (Car allowance provided)
  • Willingness to travel between 40% and 70% of the time across the territory.
