Description
Vector Solutions is a leading, AI-enabled, performance platform powering safe, compliant, and efficient operations for the public, educational, and commercial sectors. We bring training, safety, and workforce operations together to boost readiness, reduce risk, and drive high-performance results for the everyday heroes who count on us.

The Enterprise SDR is a specialized Sales Development role built to generate pipeline for a new, AI-native software product Vector is bringing to market for industrial manufacturing companies. This is a uniquely entrepreneurial opportunity to help launch a new product inside an established, well-resourced company. This is an all-outbound seat: you will prospect into Vector’s existing commercial customer base and break into net-new  logos. You’ll bring the core discipline of a great SDR (disciplined prospecting, sharp qualification, meetings that hold) and apply it to a consultative enterprise sale.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to help launch and shape a brand-new product line at Vector. You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, and product leadership to figure out what works, and your feedback on messaging, positioning, and customer response will directly influence how we build out this motion.

From day one you’ll work in a best-in-class, AI-enabled sales tech stack, including Claude, Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and conversation intelligence tools used by top-performing teams, with real-time coaching and feedback as you build the motion.

This role is designed for growth. High performers are eligible for promotion to Senior SDR in as little as nine months, with opportunities to mentor teammates, lead huddles, and take on early leadership responsibilities. From there, the path can run into the Enterprise Sales Specialist seat closing this product line, or into Account Executive, Customer Success, and Renewals roles across the business.

This role offers uncapped earning potential, with commissions paid monthly.

What You’ll Do:
  • Generate qualified pipeline for Vector’s new AI-native software product through outbound prospecting into industrial and manufacturing accounts, both existing Vector customers and net-new logos.
  • Build and own your target account list, researching accounts and mapping stakeholders to identify where the product fits before you pick up the phone.
  • Run multi-touch outbound campaigns across calls, email, social, and video to generate interest among technical and operational buyers.
  • Qualify prospects by uncovering the operational challenges the product is built to solve, then translate those into a credible business case for a first meeting.
  • Schedule and help prepare qualified discovery meetings and product demonstrations for the Enterprise Sales Specialist to lead.
  • Partner closely with the Enterprise Sales Specialist to refine targeting, messaging, and positioning for a product with no established playbook.
  • Serve as an early voice of the customer, relaying product feedback, objections, and market signal back to the team to help shape the roadmap and go-to-market approach.
  • Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce and Outreach.
  • Stay current on commercial sector trends and buyer priorities to speak credibly with prospects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • 1+ years in outbound prospecting (SDR, BDR, lead generation) with a track record of self-sourced pipeline that converted to meetings and conversations
  • B2B selling experience, ideally with longer sales cycles and multiple stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of industrial and manufacturing, who the buyers are, what keeps them up at night, how they evaluate and buy solutions
  • Comfortable with enterprise-level credibility: you speak their language, you ask smart questions, and you earn respect from operations and learning leaders who will test whether you actually understand their environment
  • Proactive, resourceful, and genuinely comfortable with ambiguity, you'll be helping define the selling motion for a new product, and that means iterating fast and being coachable when early messaging doesn't land
  • Strong communication: you can clearly and credibly explain a complex, new offering to sophisticated buyers
  • Organized and self-motivated: you manage a focused pipeline independently, track your own metrics, and take ownership of your numbers without constant check-ins
  • Interest in sales technology (Salesforce, Outreach, or similar), experience a plus, but willingness to learn is what matters
  • Bachelor's degree preferred

What You Can Expect From Us:
  • Friendly, open, and casual work environment
  • Comprehensive benefits package effective the first of the month after hire
  • Matching 401(k) retirement plan
  • Healthy work-life balance with flexible work arrangements and generous time off

  • OnePass Gym/Wellness Discount Program
