Job Summary  | Position will perform as an Integration Engineer and will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide data integration solutions, ensuring secure, efficient, and scalable data exchanges between critical business applications. This position requires expertise in iPaaS, API development, middleware platforms, data transformation, workflow automation, and enterprise integration frameworks.

As a technical lead within the integration team, this position collaborates with business stakeholders, developers, and IT teams to develop and maintain high-performance integration solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices. This role also provides guidance to junior engineers, enforces technical standards, and drives continuous improvements in integration strategies.
Minimum Education and Experience  | Bachelor’s degree and five (5) years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Preferred Education and Experience  | Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in enterprise data integration, API development, and middleware solutions. Strong expertise in Boomi, Control-M, TeamDynamix iPaaS, or similar integration platforms. Proficiency in API development (REST/SOAP), ETL processes, and database integration. Experience with SQL, Python, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for automation. Strong understanding of cloud integration, microservices, and containerized environments. Experience with enterprise security frameworks, access management, and authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML, OpenID). Familiarity with ERP (PeopleSoft, Workday), CRM (Salesforce), and HR system integrations. Knowledge of data governance, compliance regulations (FERPA, HIPAA), and risk management best practices. Certification in Boomi, ITIL, or PMP is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  | Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise integration solutions using tools such as Boomi, Control-M, and TeamDynamix iPaaS. Develop and optimize API integrations, ETL pipelines, batch processes, and workflow automation. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of integration solutions across ERP, CRM, HR, and cloud applications. Collaborate with solution architects and IT teams to define integration frameworks, best practices, and governance policies. Conduct technical reviews of integration solutions, identifying opportunities for enhancement. Oversee day-to-day operations of data integration platforms, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring data integrity. Optimize batch job scheduling, API performance, and data flows, identifying potential bottlenecks and inefficiencies. Implement monitoring tools and proactive alerts to improve system reliability and minimize downtime. Provide Level 3 support for escalated integration incidents and coordinate resolution with vendors when needed. Ensure compliance with data governance frameworks, implementing access controls, logging, and security protocols. Enforce integration security best practices, including OAuth, SAML, and other authentication mechanisms. Participate in security audits, risk assessments, and remediation efforts related to data integrations. Act as a technical mentor for junior integration engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather integration requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategies. Work with project managers and cross-functional teams to support enterprise initiatives and drive successful integration roll-outs.
