GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Epic Training Coordinator will have primary responsibility for coordination and administrative support of Epic training programs and solutions for end users in all locations. This position is the key Epic department lead for coordinating various Epic training programs and classes/events in conjunction with the Epic Training Manager. Responsible for coordination of Epic classroom training, one-on-one training, logistics, attendance documentation, classroom set up/maintenance, equipment management, classroom maintenance, documentation management and course evaluations.

- Responsible for coordinating and scheduling Epic training programs, resources and functions for all roles in all locations.
- Serves on organizational onboarding teams performing tasks assigned by the Epic Training Manager and/or Epic Director. Routinely provides training updates to appropriate individuals.
- Exercises independent judgement in the planning, scheduling, organizing, and monitoring of ongoing Epic training efforts; communicate to the Epic Training Manager as needed.
- Coordinates physician training in conjunction with Medical Staff Services requirements for credentialing and onboarding.
- Facilitates the use and management of computer classrooms and equipment to ensure upkeep and optimal use.
- Maintains required documentation and recordkeeping systems for Epic training attendees, curriculum materials and Epic trainers per program/regulatory requirements.
- Adjusts and updates Epic training schedule to facilitate staffing needs.
- Supports program and learning management system.
- Maintains the utmost level of confidentiality at all times.
- Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.
- Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines.
- This is an in-person position with occasional opportunities to work remotely when supported by team needs.
- Performs other related work as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying.
- Ideal candidates for this position possess highly effective organizational and planning skills, including utilization of electronic tools to assist.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills are a must.
- Detailed tracking, documentation and recordkeeping skills are imperative.
- This position is an integral part of the Epic Training Team so effective teamwork is essential.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Occasional travel for service to Driscoll facilities is required. A reliable form of transportation, a valid Texas driver’s license and proof of insurance is required.
