The Training Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of training program related to the integration of the Epic system. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of the Epic system, and a proven track record of successful project management in a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Epic & third-party system training program, ensuring all milestones and objectives are met within the specified timeline and budget
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of trainers, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to develop and deliver high-quality training materials and sessions
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including clinical, administrative staff, and operational readiness PM to assess training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Curriculum Development: Oversee the creation and maintenance of comprehensive training curricula that address the specific needs of different user groups within the organization
- Training Delivery: Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, both in-person and virtually, ensuring effective delivery and high participant engagement
- Performance Evaluation: Implement assessment tools and techniques to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement
- Compliance: Ensure all training activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest developments in the Epic system and training methodologies, and incorporate innovations into the training program
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, education, management, or a related field. A master s degree is preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Epic project management, with a focus on training and development in a healthcare setting
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is preferred. Epic certification in one or more modules is a strong asset
- Strong leadership and team management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficient in curriculum development and instructional design
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneouslyAnalytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with e-learning platforms and virtual training tools
