Duties and Responsibilities  | Duties and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the unit director, the Evaluation and Survey Research Analyst will:
supporting and executing evaluation and survey research projects, analyzing data, and providing insights that inform decision-making and program improvement. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to design, implement, and analyze surveys, assessments, and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of programs, policies, or services.  Key Responsibilities: Support program evaluation projects via methodological design, data collection, analysis and reporting Develop planning and conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses of program, student, and other relevant data Build collegial partnership with program leaders and engage them through regular communication in evaluation activities, including the planning and development of instruments and tools Provide analysis outcomes and recommendations for program improvement and future evaluation efforts Coordinate survey development and administration related to university priorities Oversee survey data collection processes, ensuring high response rates and maintaining data quality standards Analyze survey data using statistical techniques, software (such as SPSS, R, SAS, or Excel), and qualitative analysis methods. Interpret findings to identify patterns, trends, and insights that address research questions Prepare visualizations using dashboards, reports, and presentations of data and findings for various stakeholders Manage and support project timelines and deliverables to ensure research activities stay on track Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including program leaders, stakeholders, and external partners Visualize survey response and program review data utilizing interactive tools.
Minimum Education and/or Work Experience  | Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s preferred. 3-5 years of experience doing high-level institutional research work.
Qualifications  | Qualifications:

2 years of work experience in higher education for evaluation, survey research, and program coordination Experience with large-scale survey administration tool (e.g., Qualtrics) Working knowledge of statistical analysis tool, including SPSS or SASExcellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Earned bachelor’s in Psychology, Social Science, Higher Education or related field; advanced degree preferred Experience in support of assessment and program evaluation or survey data collection
