Event and Field Marketing Coordinator Full Description

Civitas Learning is looking for a highly organized Event and Field Marketing Coordinator to support growth marketing and customer engagement efforts. This role will plan and execute owned in-person and digital events across the buyer journey and coordinate and manage company participation in field events. 

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and has a strong attention to detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and are an excellent problem solver and communicator.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with growth marketing, product, sales, and the Customer Development team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage logistics for field events to support growth marketing initiatives, including sponsor relations, staffing, organizing marketing materials, and team coordination.
  • Own and manage strategy and planning for sponsored field event booths, activations, and presentations.
  • Assist in planning and executing owned in-person and digital events and webinars.
  • Support marketing campaigns as assigned, ensuring seamless execution, including direct mail marketing efforts and using systems like HubSpot and Salesforce to build and track event engagement and performance.
  • Manage event-related materials, shipping, and setup, including lifting up to 25 lbs as needed.
  • Track event deliverables, timelines, and budgets to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain responsiveness to shifting event needs and troubleshoot issues proactively.

Experience & Qualifications:
  • 3+ years in event coordination, marketing logistics, or a related field.
  • Must be based in the Austin, TX area (no relocation support available).
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Resourceful, takes initiative, and finds creative solutions.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs for event setup and logistics.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% for events and marketing activities.
