Highlights
Plan and coordinate seminars, symposiums, community lectures, and special events including Stem Cell Awareness Day and Open House.
Manage event logistics like catering, parking, security, signage, facility reservations, and contract administration.
Coordinate audiovisual requirements, filming, livestreaming, and technical support for events.
Serve as primary contact for guest speakers and manage online RSVPs and attendee inquiries.
Track trainee applications and generate reports for training grants and academic leadership.
Use communication tools such as email listservs and Constant Contact for event promotion and internal/external communications.
Required skills include event planning principles, organizational skills, interpersonal communication, policy analysis, and discretion with confidentiality.
Proficient with common computer application programs relevant to research or organizational needs.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-3 years of professional event coordination experience.
Salary ranges from $56,200 to $96,800 annually, with expected starting salary between $56,200 and $61,820.
