Job SummaryThis position provides comprehensive administrative support to the provost and her leadership team, ensuring smooth departmental operations. Responsibilities include managing budgets, coordinating meetings and events, maintaining organizational resources such as handbooks and charts, and handling sensitive communications. The role also involves overseeing office logistics, updating web content, and serving as a primary point of contact for visitors and inquiries.
Job Duties:Manages administrative functions on behalf of the provost, her team, and their areas.

Assists in managing the departmental budget, including tracking expenditures, ordering, and purchasing.

Provides general administrative support such as drafting correspondence, preparing reports, recording meeting minutes, and creating memorandums.

Addresses departmental issues and concerns, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution.

Handles sensitive and confidential materials related to departmental operations.

Oversees administrative functions on behalf of the provost, her leadership team, and associated areas.

Assists in coordinating logistics for professional and organizational development initiatives, including Leadership Team meetings, Advisory Board Meetings, the Changing Classroom Cultures Conference, and College Convocation.

Supports the maintenance and accuracy of the college’s web-based employee handbook and organizational charts.

Monitors and updates unit webpages and online directories to ensure current and accurate information.

Assists with maintaining calendars and schedules.

Serves as receptionist by greeting visitors, answering phone, distributing mail, etc.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors degree or Equivalent.
