- Assist in grant development and co-author publications related to projects.
- Require a bachelor's degree in Crop Science, Plant Science, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Horticulture, Environmental Science, or related field with at least three years of relevant experience.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, experience with small grains, seed processing, quality analysis, and extension presentation development.
- Must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and in teams.
- Valid North Carolina Driver's License required or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire.
- Position requires occasional overnight and weekend travel.
