Job Description

Core Responsibilities
In this role, you will join the Finance Controlling & Planning organization and work closely with Finance Business Partners (FBPs) of our Operations Finance organization to enable smart decision-making through insights, structure, and collaboration. You will also:
  • Support monthly and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and transparency in inancial reporting.
  • Support FBP's in providing financial insights and analysis towards Factory and Central Operations team
  • Prepare and review monthly performance reports, including variance analysis on cost, productivity, and operational KPIs.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting and cost controlling for strategic projects for factory and central teams Help identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and automation across operations finance activities.
  • Collaborate across finance and operations teams to ensure alignment and data consistency.
*This position is based in Monterrey, Mexico, and relocation assistance is not offered for this role.

You will become part of Business Service Operations (BSO), a shared service center that delivers Employee and Finance services to The LEGO Group from 4 locations; Monterrey, Prague, Singapore, and China.

You will play a key role in the evolution of the BSO roadmap, where we would like to bring and develop controlling, planning, and business partnering capabilities within the team to elevate further the finance services catalog.

Do you have what it takes?
  • BA degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or related.
  • Proven experience of financial controlling and/or finance business partnering with the ability to conduct data analysis across multiple sources to support strategic decisions.
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, SAP and Power BI skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Experience in encouraging collaboration and leading processes across cross-functional teams
  • Thrives in a complex landscape and is able to balance, and ensure alignment of, multiple objectives
  • Takes initiative, ownership, and drives things to a conclusion
