Key Responsibilities: 
Financial Aid Counseling & Support 
  • Advise students and families on financial aid programs, eligibility, and application procedures 
  • Provide in-depth support on complex financial aid issues 
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of financial aid policies and regulations 
Awarding & Compliance 
  • Review and authorize financial aid awards from federal, state, and institutional sources 
  • Monitor compliance with federal and state regulations 
  • Assist in ongoing institutional compliance efforts 
Collaboration & Communication 
  • Partner with student services and enrollment teams to deliver seamless support 
  • Represent the college in outreach events and presentations 
  • Provide leadership and training to support a high-quality student experience 

What We’re Looking For: 
  • One year of professional experience working with students in a postsecondary setting, or three years of other relevant professional experience 
  • Customer service experience, especially in explaining complex rules or policies 
  • Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Ability to research and understand complex financial aid systems and regulations 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking 
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations 
  • Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented 
 
Additional Instructions For Applicants: 
Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
