What You’ll Do:As a Financial Analyst, you’ll be the cornerstone of our AP operations—ensuring timely and accurate payments, maintaining detailed financial records, and providing essential budget oversight. You’ll collaborate across departments, resolve payment issues, support audits, and ensure financial compliance every step of the way.

Key Responsibilities: Review, verify, and process payment documents (POs, reimbursements, expense reports, etc.) Ensure compliance with university, state, and federal financial policies Work with vendors, departments, and procurement for approvals and invoice matching Maintain accurate vendor records including W-9s, tax IDs, and documentation Analyze departmental budgets to ensure funds availability before expenditures Investigate discrepancies and process GL corrections when needed Support month-end and year-end close activities, including AP accruals and reconciliations Prepare for and support internal and external audits Educate university personnel on AP procedures and provide process guidance
