What You’ll Do
Are you energized by bringing high-impact learning programs to life and ensuring every detail runs seamlessly behind the scenes? As a Learning & Development Coordinator, you’ll play a central role in supporting attorney development initiatives that shape talent across the firm. Working within the Learning & Development function and in close partnership with Human Resources and Continuing Legal Education compliance, you’ll help deliver engaging, well-executed programs that drive professional growth at every level.
From coordinating flagship initiatives like Kirkland University and attorney orientation programs to supporting leadership training and inclusion-focused events, you’ll ensure smooth execution, accurate reporting, and continuous process improvement. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by both operational excellence and meaningful impact.
- Program Execution & Coordination – Manage end-to-end logistics for attorney learning initiatives, including scheduling, participant and instructor communications, materials distribution, and evaluations for programs such as Kirkland University, Litigation University, Leadership & Management Training, inclusion events, orientation programs, and the Summer Program.
- Data, Reporting & Insights – Collect, analyze, and report on participation, feedback, and outcomes across Learning & Development initiatives to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
- Operational Infrastructure Management – Maintain project tracking systems, shared calendars, email distribution lists, and internal knowledge repositories that support the broader Learning & Development function.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance – Partner with the Human Resources Delivery team to support on-the-ground program needs and liaise with Continuing Legal Education compliance to align training initiatives with accreditation requirements.
- Stakeholder Management & Confidentiality – Balance multiple stakeholder requests across the Learning & Development vertical while exercising discretion with sensitive and strategic information.
- Process Improvement & Capability Building – Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, or eliminate manual processes using artificial intelligence and other tools, while continuously strengthening individual and team capabilities as technologies evolve.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in a law firm, Learning & Development (L&D), professional services, or a related coordination role.
- Familiarity with Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements and professional accreditation processes strongly preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing requests, and deliver programs efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS), collaboration platforms, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong project and time management skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through on deadlines and deliverables.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across departments and levels.
- Resilient and composed under shifting deadlines or urgent needs, maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions.
- Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Availability to work outside standard business hours as needed.
If you’re motivated to deliver exceptional learning experiences, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to the ongoing development of top legal talent, we’d love to hear from you.
