University of South Carolina is hiring a Fiscal Analyst for the Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing. The Fiscal Analyst manages internal and start-up accounts for faculty, analyzes financial data, ensures compliance with policies, processes accounting transactions, and supports budget-related duties within the college.
Highlights

Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of certification, training, education, and experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.
Starting salary range from $49,396 up to $78,000 annually.
Works in the College of Engineering and Computing supporting faculty and staff financial operations in compliance with university policies.

Advertised Job Summary | The Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing at University of S.C is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Fiscal Analyst to serve in the Office of the Dean. This position plays a critical role in supporting the financial operations of the college by managing internal accounts and start-up accounts for faculty. The incument will also be responsible for analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with university and foundation policies. This position will also process various account actions, ED foundation check requests, account reconciliations, and assisting with various other budget-related duties . Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience | Requires a bachelor’s degree in a job related field and 3 or more years of job related experience, which may be substituted by an equivalent combination of job related certification, training, education, and/or experience. Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials | Preferred Qualifications | Experience with USC systems such as Peoplesoft Finance and HCM. Familiarity with USC policies and procedures. Perform monthly reconciliations of all college accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. Process routine accounting transactions, including journal entries (JEs), purchase orders (POs), and requests for payment (RFPs), in accordance with university policies and procedures. Prepare and submit deposits for the college, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with financial guidelines.
