Job Summary
MathWorks is seeking a seasoned Sales Leader to head our Government Sales Organization in our Chevy Chase, MD office. This role will drive strategy and execution for Federal Government accounts, grow revenue, build customer relationships, and expand the team to support evolving government needs.

We operate on a hybrid work model: three days onsite, two days remote, with travel as needed for customer visits.

Responsibilities
  • Lead sales across DoD, Intelligence Agencies, and Government-funded labs
  • Develop and manage a team of Sales Account Managers
  • Create and execute strategic plans to meet revenue goals
  • Navigate Federal Government contracting processes
  • Communicate progress to executive leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Marketing, Engineering, Consulting, and Product Development

Minimum Qualifications
  • Visa sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
  • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer without restriction.
  • A bachelor's degree and 15 years of professional work experience (or equivalent experience) is required. 5 years management experience is required.

This position will include travel to our corporate office in Natick, MA and meeting with customers.  Additional time will be spent interacting and strategizing with Field Engineering, Consulting, Product Training, Marketing and Product Development.
