Position Overview
The Graduate Admissions and Communication Specialist has the responsibility to design and maintain outgoing communication using the university CRM for graduate recruitment, application processes and student enrollment in an effort to promote applicant experience and support individual academic units with communication needs. The individual in this position will also create internal marketing materials to promote graduate programs. The position will work closely with the Director of Graduate Admissions, the Graduate Student Support coordinator, and the Director of Graduate Studies for each individual graduate program.

Required Experience
  • Experience in designing and developing communications and communication plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, lead and manage projects
  • Editing, proofreading correspondence and monitoring record systems to identify and correct errors with attention to detail
  • Working in a customer service-orientated (where the customers are students and academic departments) team environment to accomplish shared goals
  • Editing and writing using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials and other writing samples
