Job Purpose  | The Graduate School Enrollment and Budget Manager oversees collection, recording, and reporting of all graduate student data and records, ensuring integrity, accuracy, and proper maintenance. Evaluates, follows, and suggests improvements to operational policies and workflows. Creates and manages comprehensive databases to maintain data. Oversees funding systems, coordinates with internal and external partners, and coordinates recruitment of student and temporary employees within the Graduate School. Works collaboratively and ethically with all stakeholders with a dedication to problem-solving.
Minimum Requirements  | Bachelor’s degree and relevant experience is required. Advanced degree is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities  | Knowledge of the functions and administration of student academic and financial records. Experience and knowledge of managing budgets, systems analysis, and design. Delivers exceptional customer service while supporting students, staff, and faculty with professionalism and care. Must communicate effectively verbally and in writing to interpret regulations, policies and procedures. Must be able to exercise discretion and sound judgment in the handling of records and in working with graduate assistants. Must possess or quickly gain a working knowledge of the provisions of federal Family Educations Rights to Privacy Act (FERPA).

Reviews and processes requests for student withdrawals, petitions for exception, appeals, and leaves of absence in consultation with Associate Dean and Dean. Collaborates with Graduate School colleagues and the offices of the Registrar, Institutional Research, Information Technology, Professional Development, Treasurer, and Financial Aid to ensure all course enrollment and academic program operations meet the needs of graduate students and the institution.

Acts as liaison between internal/external constituents and the Graduate School and its programs. Educates program directors and faculty on institutional policies, procedures, and regulations dealing with graduate students. Plans, writes, edits, publishes, and updates program information for the Graduate Catalog as it relates to policies, procedures, and services available to students, faculty, and staff.

Troubleshoots funding issues and errors. Analyzes and proposes annual funding allocations and awards for programs in consultation with program directors and Graduate School leadership.

Administers and analyzes annual Graduate Student Exit Survey in coordination with the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
