| Job Summary | Teaching Assistants provide tutorial, clerical, technical, and teaching support for the assigned class (es) under the direction of their supervising and mentoring faculty member. Teaching Assistants may be asked to field student emails, grade assignments and exams, post grades, manage components of UK’s Learning Management System, proctor exams, assist with student questions, make copies, give guest lectures, supervise students in laboratory settings, teach course content, or other means of support. Mentoring faculty will provide you with the support you need to grow in knowledge and abilities in managing a classroom. |
