About the Role:
Lead and manage healthcare-focused specialty sales across the US and EMEA regions, driving revenue growth, customer retention, and new business development. This role will also foster a high-performance sales culture within a geographically and culturally diverse team.
How you will make an impact:
- Coaching and effective management of the direct reports in order to attain and exceed sales plan.
- Promote and instill a high-performance, sales-driven culture. Implement best practices across the team to drive consistency and excellence.
- Lead accurate forecasting, ensuring a healthy and realistic pipeline for renewals and new opportunities.
- Embrace an entrepreneurial approach. Partner with other Wiley sales teams to uncover and pursue cross-functional opportunities.
- Be familiar with all policies and business terms for Wiley’s different offerings into the health and govt sector. Also ensure through the team that an appropriate level of familiarity is embedded where it is necessary.

Qualifications:
- 4-year undergraduate degree
- 10+ years’ experience in healthcare institutional sales within the publishing or related industry
- Fluency around OA trends, in region and globally
- Experience in AI will be valuable
- Experience in selling and managing complex customer solutions
- Experience managing geographically and culturally diverse teams and customers

We are committed to fair, transparent pay, and we strive to provide competitive compensation in addition to a comprehensive benefits package. The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles either in the United Kingdom, Canada or USA. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
