At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Rancho Dominguez, CA! About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, youâll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Rancho Dominguez, CA
Details:
- In-Person Tutoring in Rancho Dominguez, CA
- Schedule: 25 hours, 4 sessions a week for 2 hours
- Pay range is between $25 and $35
Ideal Candidate:
- Experienced high school tutor comfortable supporting advanced math and science subjects, including Algebra 2, Geometry, and Chemistry.
- Strong background in secondary-level English with emphasis on reading comprehension strategies for PSAT/SAT preparation.
- Skilled in teaching cognitive learning strategies, memory retention techniques, and comprehension skills.
- Proficient in integrating tools such as Desmos, Gizmos, PowerPoint, and AI-based learning supports into instruction.
- Adaptable and able to transition smoothly between virtual and in-person instruction as needed.
- Patient, structured, and able to explain complex concepts clearly while building academic confidence.
- Able to connect learning to student interests such as coding, technology, and interactive digital platforms to increase engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
