Job Summary  | The undergraduate research assistant will work under the supervision of postdoctoral researchers to assist with ongoing behavioral neuroscience experiments. The primary focus of this work will be to support a study investigating how transparent barriers alter social behavior in rodents when physical contact is restricted. Key responsibilities include assisting with behavioral experiments examining social behavior alteration in female mice, especially under conditions of restricted physical contact, monitoring video recording during social behavior, performing manual and automated behavioral scoring using tracking tools such as SLEAP, assisting with data annotation, organization, and preliminary statistical analysis, and participating in lab meetings and complying lab policies.
