Work Schedule Summary | This position will be a hybrid position working both remotely and onsite at our downtown SLC office. Work hours can be flexible to the hired individual, with an expectation of 20 hours per week during standard office hours. Residents of Utah who live more than 50 miles from the work site may be eligible for full time a remote work agreement.

Job Summary | The
Training and Development Team within University Human Resource Management is seeking a temporary, part-time assistant from June through October 2025 to provide support as they implement multiple time-sensitive projects.
The Training and Development Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the human resources staff within the Training and Development team. They will support the team by performing a variety of collaborative and administrative tasks, including managing the team email inbox, generating reports, and compiling data from the Learning Management System. Responsibilities also include transcription, data entry, organizing and formatting materials, preparing presentation content for training activities, conducting basic research on training and development topics, and addressing routine inquiries regarding human resources policies and procedures. May identify potential issues for further investigation by an HR Representative.

Minimum Qualifications |
HR Assistant, I: Requires little to no related experience.
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Preferences | Understanding of Learning Management Systems. Adept at technology and data analysis, with the ability to process information quickly. Experience in Microsoft Office, with proficient Excel skills for spreadsheet management. Able to prioritize adherence to standard operating procedures for consistency.
