How can you make an impact?
The HR Operations Specialist provides a range of services in support of the global HR Operations team. This role will provide exceptional customer service support and is responsible for first-line HR inquiries. This position will serve as a resource to assist key HR stakeholders in areas of HR policy, payroll, benefits, HR technology, and other HR matters that occur throughout the employment life cycle. In addition, this role will provide transactional support for various global HR programs.

 

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within Colombia.

 

What you will be doing:

Case Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR questions, resolving ServiceNow cases across payroll, benefits, onboarding, and general HR transactions.
  • Act as a process SME to deliver accurate, first-time resolutions and maintain strong employee satisfaction.
  • Meet SLAs by escalating or transitioning cases as needed and collaborate with HR partners to improve knowledge articles and document solutions.

HR Programs

  • Administer key HR programs, including tuition reimbursement, employee recognition, and service anniversaries.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, maintain employee files, and manage exit survey reporting.
  • Process HR purchase orders and invoices, respond to vendor/manager inquiries, and ensure compliance through handbook updates and monitoring required programs.

 

 

We are looking for someone with…

  • 1-3 years of HR experience with strong customer service background.
  • Preferred experience with ServiceNow HR module, Workday, and HR Shared Services.
  • Solid understanding of employment and labor laws.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English/Spanish) with strong collaboration and issue-resolution capabilities.
