WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Human Resources (HR) Senior Coordinator, you will be responsible for partnering with the talent acquisition team and human resource leaders to schedule candidates for interviews with all levels of the business and leaders. The Human Resources Senior Coordinator is also responsible for execution of select role offer letters and background checks. In addition, the Human Resources Senior Coordinator will help with additional HR projects. In this role, you will be required to deliver excellent candidate experience and business partnership while driving efficiencies in all aspects of your responsibilities.
WHERE YOU’LL WORK
This position will work a hybrid schedule from our Leawood, KS office location.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME
- Coordinate and schedule interviews for candidates at all levels of the organization and across various departments.
- Communicate interview details to candidates and interviewers, ensuring all parties are informed and prepared.
- Manage and update interview calendars, ensuring efficient use of time and resources.
- Coordinate the hiring and offer letter execution of requested high volume roles partnering with the business organization to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance requirements are met.
- Compile talent acquisition data and reports.
- Monitor candidate background check details.
- Serve as an ambassador of the Ascend Learning brand to the candidate ensuring a positive experience and interaction with the company.
- Engage in talent acquisition or HR project work in support of our clients and as we continue to enhance our processes and tools.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in corporate setting, as an HR coordinator, recruiter, or relevant role
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, including experience scheduling in Outlook
- Experience with recruiting tools like applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards and LinkedIn Recruiter a plus
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills, active listening, and the ability to influence effectively, complemented by excellent verbal and written skills for impactful communication to all levels of candidates and the business
- Ability to work to cover multiple time zones as needed
