Human Research Technologist – Social Sciences Full Description

POSITION SPECIFICS
The Child Health Research Center at Penn State is currently seeking a Human Research Technologist to advance its mission of research and education in child maltreatment. Under the direction of study management and staff, this position will:
  • Complete study protocols to include: 1) contribute to retention efforts 2) administer surveys, questionnaires, interviews 3) complete biospecimen collection 4) facilitate MRI procedures and scans and, 5) data entry. 
  • Perform routine inventory checks and order supplies utilizing a purchasing card or PSU's online purchasing platform.
  • Process and reconcile cash reimbursements and gift cards for participants. 
  • Schedule and reconcile participant travel arrangements.
  • Oversee undergraduate research assistants in preparing visit materials and data entry.
  • Maintain to study calendars and email groups.
  • Schedule visits, MRIs, and Quest labs. 
  • Facilitate data transfers. 
  • Support study staff to update CATS IRB.

SALARY & BENEFITS
The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $34,800.00 - $50,500.00.
