Job Summary | The University of Kentucky Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Digital Communications to supervise the development and management of the college’s servers, network programming and extensive website properties as part of a cohesive Marketing & Communications team.
The Associate Director of Digital Communications supervises day-to-day operations and assignments of the College’s digital communications team, providing support service for over 120 websites used by our faculty, staff, and students used for research, learning, and administrative activities.
The Associate Director of Digital Communications will: work closely with the Marketing & Communications team to enhance the digital presence of the college manage Drupal installation and ongoing implementation for the Pigman College of Engineering’s websites create feed-driven pages continually improve existing sites to provide seamless web-service experience for clients review and analyze web, social media, and email campaign data design databases, forms, and other customer interfaces conduct and maintain search engine optimization provide strategic planning, thought leadership and implementation for mobile architectures and technologies work independently to evaluate and implement new technologies for college-wide server, network, and website needs monitor industry trends to maintain current knowledge of the latest strategies serve as a technical resource to for projects related to a variety of online, digital, and technical communications be responsible for keeping the college in compliance with federal and university policies
