Shift | 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday are standard hours. Work beyond standard hours are required for an exempt position.
Job Summary Great opportunity for a detail oriented information technology professional with procurement experience to join our team in Procurement Services!
Under the direction of the Associate Director-Procurement Automation, this position will be responsible for co-administration of multiple e-procurement systems and processes for the purchase of goods and services. These may include aspects of SAP-Materials Management, Ariba e-catalogs, commerce automation, procurement transactions resolution, business process improvements, and support systems. The successful candidate will provide support for systems and processes for Amazon Business, vendor master data, materials master data, data analytics, and third-party procurement and data applications. The successful candidate will provide support for multiple business processes and applications under the direction of the Associate Director. This position includes supervisory responsibilities for other team members.
The successful candidate will assist in design, development, and implementation of e-procurement systems and processes along with support for departmental customers and suppliers. This includes development of system requirements and building and supporting new punch-out and hosted e-catalogs. The successful candidate will manage product content and resolve e-catalog shopping issues for multiple platforms. In addition, you will track, manage, and resolve issues related to daily invoice traffic for e-procurement applications and work to resolve problematic transaction closures.
The successful candidate should understand basic e-commerce concepts and solutions, transaction overview and management, approval and document workflows, etc. They should understand procurement transaction streams, be able to identify issues and stoppages, work to maximize automation, and minimize manual efforts in procurement processes. The person in this position should have general knowledge of procurement and contracting processes. This individual is responsible for interpreting purchasing law and frequently interacts with executive administrators.
Under the direction of the Associate Director, this person will plan and execute change management activities for new systems and e-catalog onboardings. Responsibilities include creation and delivery of training materials for e-procurement transactions for departmental users, Procurement staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders. In this position you will be responsible for and assist in the creation of permanent documentation for various projects and other procurement activities.
This position provides support to other Procurement Automation special projects, applications, and initiatives as well as related tasks including website support, IT desktop support, e-procurement, miscellaneous reporting, etc. It is important that the successful candidate be a team player, detail-oriented, organized, have initiative, and must be a good communicator with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. SAP experience is preferred. Other duties as assigned.
