Description of Work 
This position will provide a range of computing management activities and will support staff at the Center on Children, Families and the Law and the Public Policy Center (PPC). This includes: server maintenance (web and data); developing and maintaining computing security and continuity of operations; tracking and projecting need for computing assets; monitoring backup and redundancies; supporting users; creating and maintaining computing process and asset documentation; researching and consulting on a variety of tools to address needs; supervising student workers; working with endpoint management software to deploy operating systems and applications; and event support.

Minimum Required Qualifications 
Associate’s degree plus three (3) years IT experience including providing end-user support (desktop and networked servers) in a large computing environment is required; equivalent education/experience will be considered. Demonstrated experience with desktop/application virtualization technologies; familiarity with the configuration and deployment of Windows software and OS in large computing and networked environment; excellent communication skills; ability to manage sensitive data; knowledge of customer service practices; and project management experience.

US citizenship is required due to national security and access to sensitive data sets.
