Job SummaryThe Institutional Effectiveness Specialist III position is responsible for the coordination and execution of activities related to the planning, assessment, research, and accreditation functions of the KCTCS Office of Research and Policy Analysis (ORPA). The position will also perform extensive technical work to collect, analyze, summarize, and package institutional and external data for use in planning and decision making.

Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.

KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.

Job Duties:Coordinate and provide leadership and support for systemwide assessment functions, including but not limited to the CPE program review process. This includes developing and/or revising assessment processes; ensuring timely and frequent communications with relevant stakeholders; developing and administering training to support assessment processes; and coordinating, evaluating, and summarizing assessment results.

Collect and analyze student and institution level data to identify key trends, takeaways, and recommendations. This includes the coordination, development, and administration of internal and external surveys; utilizing a variety of existing data sources to identify trends and gaps in programming and services (e.g., IPEDS, KYSTATS, Census, labor market information, and internal data/dashboards); responding to ad hoc requests for research and analysis; and preparing reports/presentations for leadership and other stakeholders.

Work collaboratively with the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness to provide leadership and support to KCTCS colleges in maintaining compliance with the accreditation standards of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC).

Assist the Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness with the development and assessment of the KCTCS Strategic Plan, Action Plan, and related plans and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Research, Assessment, Social Science, Statistics, Economics, Higher Education and three (3) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:Master's Degree in Research, Assessment, Social Science, Statistics, Economics, Higher Education and five (5) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Additional Skills Requested:Strong understanding of research and assessment.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Survey development and administration.

Ability to interpret descriptive and inferential statistics.

Ability to make connections in data analysis/research to inform recommendations and key takeaways.

Knowledge of SACSCOC Accreditation Standards.
