We are looking for an Instructional Coordinator to write, review, and validate prompt-based questions designed to train AI.

Your expertise in curriculum planning, instructional strategy, learning assessment, and educator training will ensure each prompt and response reflects how educators and administrators design and support effective learning experiences. You’ll help shape how AI understands curriculum standards, pedagogical frameworks, and classroom implementation across K–12, higher education, and adult learning settings.

You are a good fit if you:
  • Have over 3+ years of professional experience in instructional coordination, curriculum development, or educational program design
  • Have a bachelor's or master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, instructional design, or a related field
  • Are currently based in the United States, United Kingdom, or Canada
  • Have a strong background in areas such as aligning instructional materials to standards, developing assessment strategies, coaching teachers, implementing new curricula, evaluating program outcomes, and managing school- or district-wide initiatives
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Have strong attention to details

Role Highlights
  • Flexible workload: 10–20 hours per week, with potential to increase to 40 hours.
  • Fully remote and asynchronous—work on your own schedule.
  • Minimum duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension.

Role Start Date
  • This role will begin in mid to late-July with applications reviewed on a rolling basis.

Interview Process
  • You will take an AI interview where you will be asked questions about your background in curriculum development, instructional alignment, and educator support
  • You will share your screen and write a detailed prompt to generate an AI response about a instructional scenario.
  • You will evaluate and compare LLM outputs to determine which response is more effective and accurate.
  • Applicants will be selected based on their performance in the AI interview and on the accuracy and quality of their evaluations.

Compensation and Legal Details
  • You will be legally classified as an hourly contractor for Mercor
  • We will pay you out at the end of each week via Stripe Connect
